SyncGroove: Seamlessly Save and Sync Your Discover Weekly and Top Tracks!
SyncGroove allows you to save your Discover weekly playlists on Spotify. Normally, discover weekly playlists are updated every Monday. For individuals who enjoy this well-curated playlist of new music every week, sometimes we might forget to save or remember the song. SyncGroove allows you to save this playlist. To use it, you simply need to give the application authorization to your account with the given permissions outlined. It is a secure process using OAuth2 authorization hence no passwords are shared.
To begin, log in to Spotify in the web application and it will do the rest for you. In addition, the user can see their saved playlists and their top artists in the last 6 months
After logging into SyncGroove using Spotify, the user is introduced to his profile page where they see their details, name, and followers. Below that, is a list of the user's saved playlist including a playlist called SyncGroove.
The user can also see their top artists on the left panel of the website
The button, Save Discover Weekly allows the user to save their Discover Weekly playlists. The user is then redirected to the SyncGroove playlist with the unique songs saved there.

OUR STORY
As a music enthusiast, I've always looked forward to Spotify's Discover Weekly playlist, a mix of new tracks tailored just for me every Monday. However, amidst the excitement of discoveries, there was a recurring frustration – the fear of missing out on saving those gems before the next playlist update. I envisioned a solution that seamlessly integrated with Spotify, offering a hassle-free way to preserve and revisit these musical treasures at my leisure. On top of this functionality, the user can now see their top 15 artists in the last 6 months.
OUR TECHNOLOGY
SyncGroove allows you to save your Discover Weekly playlists in a new playlist called SyncGroove. Every time you decide to save the songs, the songs are checked against what's already saved to avoid duplicate songs. In addition, the user can see all their saved playlists and also their top 15 artists in the last 6 months.
